Apex Fusion-purging old user data

I bought a used Apex Classic a while back, and am just now getting around to setting it up. I've had no problems opening a new Fusion account, getting the token, and linking the Apex to my account. My problem is that, even having gone through the System>Init Memory>Init All process on the display, I still have tank data showing on the display for a tank that doesn't exist. Will that go away when I add all my own modules and probes? Also, in my Fusion account, all of the previous user's equipment and parameters are still there. How can I delete those? Surely if the Apex was still linked to the previous user, I wouldn't have been able to link it to my own account, right? By linking it to my Fusion account, shouldn't it have been wiped? Just in case, I'd rather not remove the old user's lighting schedule on his/her reefbrights...
