Apex head unit (broken)

My apex got wet and this head unit stopped working. Led lights are all working fine but it's just not recognized with my apex and I have purchase new head unit so this piece is for sale to someone who thinks can fix it.

Does the status LED ever go to the solid green? I'm wondering how much could possibly be damaged if it at least gets to green. GLWTS
