Sorry if this is a stupid question but I figured this was the best way to get my answer ! I will be running in Apex on my system and I'm wondering if I could use for instants say a Titaim heater without the controller and plug it directly into my apex and have it turn it on and turn it off when needed is that acceptable or do I need to get the controller with the heater and then plug it into my apex ??

Yes you can plug it into a EB8 port
And here is my program for it
Fallback OFF
If Tmpx10 < 78.0 Then ON
If Tmpx10 > 80.0 Then OFF
If FeedA 000 Then OFF
If FeedC 030 Then OFF
If FeedB 000 Then OFF
Defer 010:00 Then ON

The defer statement keeps it off after the return pump or a feed mode is turned back to allow the system to return to normal. When feeding or doing maintenance ( the different feed modes) I turn everything off.

Awsome thanks for the help and input!have a great day sr.;-)

Oops the temp10x by the way is the temperature probe

Any good titanium heating elements that you recommend ?

If you go to the link and look under the heaters click on a heater and then scroll down it will give the size you need
