Does anyone know of any heating elements with standard plugs on them I can use with my apex controller. I need a heater with no controller, that is glass and-not titanium.

I use a Hygger titanium heater (no controller) as a tertiary backup heater that's controlled by the Apex.Does anyone know of any heating elements with standard plugs on them I can use with my apex controller. I need a heater with no controller, that is glass and-not titanium.
Ok, so what are you trying to achieve exactally? There are various heaters out there that are already set (non adjustable) at 78 degrees and there are some that will cook your fish without some sort of temp controller inline?Does anyone know of any heating elements with standard plugs on them I can use with my apex controller. Eh, mine are cheapie glass and are preset.I haven’t heard of a glass heater without a controller.
It still has a controller that turns the heater on and of at a certain temperature. @tapeworm123 is talking about a heater that is always on and that you need to buy a controller for in order to control it.Eh, mine are cheapie glass and are preset.
Then titanium elements are all I know that fits the bill, finnex and brs does a 'house' brand that's finnex made iirc... Just a plug and will heat until the water boils out without a controller. It still has a controller that turns the heater on and of at a certain temperature. @tapeworm123 is talking about a heater that is always on and that you need to buy a controller for in order to control it.
I use EB4's to control my heaters. It's best practice to use your Apex as a backup control for your heater, so that if the heater sticks on, the Apex can kill power to it.
If you use the Apex as primary heater control and the EB832 relay sticks on, there's no way of having the Apex shut it off.
