This thing is going to drive me to drink ( more ). I'm trying to follow the HeneryH verizon tutorial and my router is saying my host name/dyndns.org is not updated?

:frusty: Not Updated - Unknown dyndns.org error

I sent an email to them for support and hope they speak idiot, because that's what I am with this computer lingo. I plan to cancel the 14day trial as suggested by neptune once I get everything setup correct and noticed a disclaimer that my free account could be cancelled after 30days of inactivity. Do you need to log in to dyndns.org once a month or will using the service by logging into apex from outside network be the same? Any help from a very patient R2R member would be Awesome right now. Thanks, Eric Gulp Gulp

What is it exactly that you need help on? Viewing your apex from outside of your home internet connection?

Yes. I already configured email with a gmx.com account and that works great. The verizon tutorial from comp ref manual on neptunes site is what im having trouble with...

HenryH has written an excellent tutorial on how to configure FIOS to work with the Apex.
You can find it at ReefCentral in the Neptune forum this is the thread Connecting Apex through Verizon FIOS Instructions - Reef Central Online Community

This is over 3 years old and I'm not getting the same options on my screen that he has. I'm sure it's user error and probably really easy to fix, but like I said my computer skills are terrible and this is like a different language to me.

I talked to someone at Verizon and think I'm good to go now. Of course it was user error and really easy to fix, go figure.
