Hello,
So looking on feed back on the apex control system. Was looking at going with light version to start. Then was also looking at there Powerheads, ato, return pump to start looking for general feed back on these items what you guys like don’t like or if you would swap out going on a 125 gallon tank. Thanks in advanced!

Know it's not on your list

But, their DOS pumps are great, but the ddr holding tanks are not

hope others chime in

Don't go lite. If you are entering the apex controller, bite the bullet and get the apexel comes with ph, temp, eb832 and wifi enabled brain. With that being said. I may need more specifications for your tank to suggest anything more.

I know I left the dos off atm it’s just starting equipment to get tank up and running and controller. Tank is 120 gallon

120 gallon mixed reef, I'd go apexEL, pm2 and salinity, pm1 and an extra ph probe for the reactor if you wanna run a calcium reactor (which I recommend), trident if money isn't an issue, dos for auto water changes. That is the exact setup I have on my red sea reefer 350. I will be using a bubble magus 3 head to does trace elements which can be plugged into eb832 and a code can be set to shut off the outlet the doser is on if parameters falter.

Ok I’ll just bite the bullet. Is the reactor plumbed into the plumbing?? As I’m still trying to work a uv into my hard piping as well

I've been running a sicce .5 for 2.5 years for my feed pump.

Running like the below / output flow at 280 mls per min.

Don't tap your manifold for the feed to a calcium reactor, the water pressure won't stay consistent.

I think their ATK is very underrated and a must have. As well as the WXM module if you have vortec pumps. I like vortec better then neptunes pumps

Yea don't plumb cal reactor to manifold. It needs very fine tuning. Buy a peristalic pump made for continuous use. You can use a micro pump as stated, but even then, it isn't as easy to fine tune as the peristalic.

I never felt the atk or wxm modules necessary if you have the eb832. You can plug into eb832 and use the manufacture app for light/pump control. One less thing to spend on.

I did, however, go with the AFS. If you travel and work a lot like I do, it is great. It is one of the cheaper buys on the apex set up though so you can buy it later.
