Apex jr feedback

I'm thinking of getting a apex jr. For my bio cube 32 and wanted to get feedback from people that have had it. I dont need a whole lot of control on things with my bio cube so o think it would be a waste of money to get the full apex just for the biocube. I am going to get one for my red sea. What you think about the jr?

Blew up my old Apex Classic last year.

Bought the JR to replace it with the PM1 module because I really didn't need the other stuff.

I'm real happy with the JR , but it maybe faded out and replaced by the new ApexEL

If you buy the JR you might need to get a WIFI gaming booster to jack in your eithernet cord to talk to your network.

That netgear? That just hooks to the router? I didnt think the jr was wirless?

You can get a $20 bridge and make it wireless. You don’t need to buy netgear. Just setup the bridge to connect to your router wirelessly and then connect the bridge to the network plug on the unit. Not you don’t need a gaming router or expensive router to do this.

And simply get one that does what you need now and in the future if you plan on getting a different tank.

The JR is not wireless.

Unless you can plug the JR into our router, your going to need an WIFI booster with an eithernet jack to talk to your router.

I like my JR, but Neptune may not fix it down the road. They will not fix the Silver model anymore since they took it off the market. Just an FYI.
