Apex Jr. OR Full sized unit, new, used ?

Not really concerned about the water detection yet. Mainly for float switch's ATO and Kalk, and possible,....for dosing.

As far as feeding, you program it for a certain time of day, or is there a button to shut the pump off anytime
you want to feed, like with the Jebao pumps ?
I won't shut down the return pump, just the powerheads for feeding.

Is the above link a good way to go if I buy brand new, or would you suggest other option's ?
What else would I need, then want ?

Does the Jr. only come with the 4 bar outlets and not 8 ?

Also, I assume at looking at prices, that Neptune has "MAP" pricing ?

I'm trying to remember all you asked (been sick and on antibiotics). But yes, if you look at the picture I posted of my fusion page, there are 4 feed mode buttons. You can program anything to stop when you press that button. I usually have one set up for feeding. I typically shut off(or slow down dramatically) my powerheads and on my old system, shut off my return pump also (I haven't gotten that far with this one yet). I then had one set up for water changing. On that one, I'd turn off my ato, skimmer, UV, kalk stirrer, reactors and heater. You can set them for whatever duration you like.. It's all in the apex program.

And, if you feel that package fits good, then sure.. I say go for it. You really can't go wrong either way tbh.. And yep, map for sure..

For what your saying, you just have to figure out how many outlets you want to control off the bat. And with that, the plugs, you just count them up, and order the eb's accordingly... And yes, the Jr comes with the 4 outlets, while the regular comes with 8 outlets

Ok, now this seller has lowered the price.
Question-

I'm wanting a 8-bar and this is only one 4-bar.
Can I or should, buy another 4-bar and connect it to the other or,
or just buy an 8-bar ? (or find a different deal or buy new) ?

Ad and original price-

Apex jr display
Apex jr 4 outlet
temp probe
Ph probe
1 Ald sensor
Pm1 module
Ald module
Eb8
420$ shipped or toss a very good offer

Now a lower price-

432.60$ shipped or 420$ shipped gift.

(I may offer $400) ?

Also, how can I find out the production date on the Neptune systems apex base module ?

The owner says when he plugs in the display, it reads April 2009.
His friend has a display that reads 2011, but it's only 1.5 years old.

So, are the dates on the display's wrong ?
