Apex jr question about codes

I have a APEX JR, I want my skimmer on a delay if I have a power outage. Is there a code for that or do I need a energy bar outlet for codes to work for this?

You program an outlet on the EB8 to plug your skimmer into. The code you will want to use is

Defer xxx:xx Then ON

For a 5 minute delay it would be

Defer 005:00 Then ON

Just remember that turning the switch to "on" overrides the defer command. You need to leave it in auto when you test it.

Brew 12 unless I'm missing something here this setting just don't work on the Apex jr. I turn my system off for about 20 sec before turning it back on and no delay on skimmer at all. Here is what my dash board looks like. Unfortunately I'm thinking it will only work with an energy bar. If this is the case I should have gotten the classic. :-(

It should work on any programmable outlet on your apex jr. You can also add an EB8 to your jr if you need more outlets.

Im email Apex about it. know let see if they can figure it out. I was told to add this line.(If Power Apex 005 Then OFF) but it's not working either. I get an error message when I up load it.

Yes, if I manually unplug the skimmer from the apex it tells me skimmers off so thats got to be the right plug.

If Power EB8_3 OFF 003 Then OFF
This is on page 57 of the manual.
Use the top right pull down menu under your user name to select the online manual.

This would delay the skimmer coming back on for 3 minutes after power is restored to the entire power bar such as if you unplugged it from the wall.

You would substitute the name of the Jr's power bar for the "EB8_3" in the command.

Use the top left pull down menu on the Fusion screen and select "modules"
Your power bar should be listed there.

So using "Apex XXX" instead of "EBxx_x" would accomplish the same thing.

Still need to list out the modules and make sure your using the right label.

Maybe that's why he got an error uploading the command.

I haven't played with a Jr, but makes sense the brain is in the power bar, not separate and connected on the aquabus.

My only problem now is that when I loss power the skimmer comes on for about a min when Apex comes back on line and then goes off for about 5 min before coming back on. My question is this, Is one of the times in the code wrong?

I've never programmed the Apex Jr and these outlets work a bit differently than I am used to. What happens if you delete the 001 from the last line?
