I just picked up an Apex Jr controller with 4 outlets and hooked up to ethernet. I have outlets programmed for:
1 return pump
2 heater
3. Moonlight (my led has builtin timer)
4. Fan

I really like the feed mode where I want to shut off the return pump so food does not go down my sump.

My issue is that I have an Tunze 3599 auto topoff with the safety backup switch which buzzes and shuts off ATO when the level is too high (ie when return pump stops)

How are you guys getting by this with limited outlets? My thought was to piggyback on the return pump outlet with the ATO plug so when the return pump is off, the ATO shuts off too. With this method, the buzzer sound will go on for about 30seconds when the outlet turns back on since the level is still high.

Any other thoughts or options?

an

Can you add an EB8 bar? That’s what I did with my Apex Jr. If not, could you just unplug the ato during feedings? Or turn off the alarm?

If you have a timer for the moon light I would just use that on a conventional power strip. Then you could use one of the Apex outlets for the ATO and set the delay to come on a few minutes after the return pump comes back on.
