Hello everyone!

As the title says, last night I got a text from heart beat which I thought was odd because I was in the room with my tank when it gave me that message. I did what I always do to reconnect after we loose power (even though we didn't this time) and went into net setup and hit restart on the controller. That all I've ever had to do before but this time seems to be different. next I unplugged the wifi extenders that I use and they seem to be working fine showing that they are connected to one another. I also unplugged the router briefly and that seems to also made no difference. The unit itself has the orange light and the green light displayed on wither side of ethernet cable so it seems that unit is still connected to the internet but the base isn't able to make connection. I restarted the network connection for each separate thing I tried doing.

Not really sure where to go from here, all help is appreciated!

I've been having trouble with my neptune apex connecting to wifi as well. For such an expensive product, having substandard wifi like this is really unacceptable. I have to reset the unit manually every time this happens, which is at least once every couple of days.

I don't buy the explanation they give about "wifi contention" causing it to lose connection when A) my apex is 10 feet away from the router and B) my tv can wirelessly stream 4k without any problems whatsoever. This is 2019, having seamless user friendly networking capabilities is pretty standard in other industries. Neptune needs to get their **** together.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Its actually been really solid for me for the last 10 months (since I started using it). This is the first issue I've had (other than me trying to program somethings on my own... thank god for the people on this forum ;Hilarious

My classic stopped connecting a while back ( after last update i think) i was using wifi adapters. Finally broke down and ran Ethernet cable from the router to apex through my attic

Hoping it doesn't come to that, not sure how the gf would feel about me drilling through the walls;Hilarious

to my non computer friendly brain thee issue does seem to be from the unit itself because everything else in the chain seems to be doing its part.
