I have the old (2010?) Apex Lite

Went down to the basement and everything was off. The display unit, everything that should have been on except 1 pump on the EB8 was off including heaters.

I unplugged and the back in. It seemed to cycle and a green light on the Apex but not on the EB8. The display unit never lit up.
Then maybe 30 seconds later boom. Everything went off again.

If I unplug the display unit it appears everything goes back to how it should. I think. It’s hard to tell because a lot of outlets I’ve changed to just be on or only cycle once a day.

If I plug the display unit back in. Bang everything goes off again.

My assumption is the display unit died? Or shorting out or something.

I have moved twice since I last connected to the apex via the app. So it’s not set to connect to my local network. Is it possible to connect to it without having the display to set the network settings? No WiFi on this unit so I have to connect with a wireless bridge or direct cable to the router which I can do. But doing so will I be able to find and access it. If I remember right you had to have the display unit to set the network.

Anymore I only use it for my fuge light, control heaters, monitor ph, and that’s really it. Lights all have built in controllers. Dosing pump has its own. Powerheads all have their own controllers...

If I can’t get access to it I don’t want to spend $500-$800 just for the above ability.

Thoughts?
