Hey, Neptune.... You reading this?

Why isn't there an 'Apex Local' link somewhere on Apex Fusion?

If Apex Local were no longer necessary, hey, fine... but that's not the case. There are many functions that REQUIRE Apex Local, even today.

Seriously... how hard would it be for you to get the local IP address of the Apex in question, and show a link to Apex Local somewhere. Yes, I know... it's not going to work unless you're operating within your home network. I get it. Doesn't change a thing. Depending on your home network, finding the IP address of an Apex can be a real pain. Since you're not distributing a local display anymore, seems the simple thing to do.

Anyone else want to offer an opinion?

Which model of Apex do you have? If it's the current Apex (2016) or Apex-EL, you can see your local IP address in Fusion from the Network Setup screen under the Summary tab. Unfortunately, that isn't available on the Apex Classic or older models.

I agree, a hyperlink within Fusion would be nice.

By jove, you're right...

Under the Apex 'Home' list, top left of Fusion, select 'Network' from the 'Setup' section, and you do indeed get the Apex's local IP address.

Still be nice to do a direct link somewhere. :D
