looking at getting the Neptune atk. The atk only uses 2 of the ports in the fmm module. Can I use the other 2 ports for a flow meter and a leak detector? Or do I need to separate them out?

Yes you can use the other two ports for additional optical sensor, leak sensors, or Flow senors.

Are you are wanting the stand alone ATK? If so, then no. You can use the FMM for those sensors, but you will need to have the APEX base unit also.

Yep 2 spares for flow meters, leak sensors or additional optical sensors.

Just hooked up an ATK and love it so far

I use the ATK also and use the two spare ports for an optical sensor for low level in my sump return and a floor leak sensor next to the tank. Covers the most important bases for me. As previously mentioned you need the ATK connected to an Apex base unit to do this however.

Good luck!

Atk question? At what level in your res does your atk stop pumping? Mine stops pretty much at the top of the pump. I would expect it to pump closer to the bottom

Thanks for the help everyone. Could you use 2 optical sensors in your sump to save the pump so it never runs dry and one for overflow protection?
The ATK has 2 sensors built in but yep could use an additional for overflow protection and one for low level on your reservoir. Atk will also alert you if it runs longer than it should

I’m not sure sorry, I have never run my reservoir that low. I run my RODI every couple of weeks to fill it and use a pressure sensitive solenoid to automatically stop when it is full. I can leave the tap on if I want and the pressure sensitive solenoid will automatically keep the reservoir full.
