Do you recommend adding apex flow module? Does it make any sense?
If yes where would you add it on return pomp or also on the pipe that drains the water to the sump .

Optical sensor. Any usefully need for it?

you can use the flow meters after the return to monitor pump back pressure from dirt., et...
the optical sensors are useful in topoff or fluid level situations like dosing buckets et

I have a couple FMM modules and a small handful of optical sensors. I use them for all sorts of things like ATO empty alerts, signaling an RODO Solenoid to open to refill the ato, one that chills in my overflow and lets me know when levels aren't where they should be. I also have one on my skimmer catch can to shut down the skimmer when it goes crazy. Next ill add a couple wet floor sensors to an additional FMM for the inevitable.

they are a godsend if you have UV plumbed up, or plan to do so. I have a return flow sensor as well on the display, but I don't find much use out of it. So for my broodstock system, I only added one for the UV line.
