Apex network help???swicthing to stactic ip!!!

today i am switching to static ip for my internet...
what changes i need to make in apex network settings...
i am newbie and will apreciate a step by step guide help
 
Nothing. If you have your router setup for port forwarding to the same internal address (likely a 192.168.1.x address), and don't change the IP address on the APEX, you'll just need to know what your new static IP address is. You can get that by going to What Is My IP - Shows Your IP Address.

If you do have devices setup to access your APEX from outside your home network, you'll need to update them with the new public IP address.
 
No problem. I should also clarify that you'll need to visit that site while you are on your network at home, haha. Anywhere else and you'll get the public IP of that location (ie work, coffee shop, etc)
 
yesterday i got my static ip adresse....
i configure my 2wire router for the static ip adress that i want for my apex..
now every time i type that adress in the window it takes me to the netgear router thats attach to my apex..
? dnt know whats goin on
 
You have to open the ports in your router. Enable the devices ip as a web server.
