I just switched from ATT to TMobile wifi router in my home. The ATT connection to Fusion was always on and worked fine. The new Tmobile will not communicate with Fusion. I put in a call to Neptune (after doing all the trouble shooting options found on youtube) and got an appointment with an IT guy who was very thorough with trouble shooting but 40 minutes later he was unable to get the link to the new router to talk to Fusion and suggested doing a direct link from my router to the Apex which I am going to attempt tonight with a new Ethernet cable.
My question is, should I shut everything down, make the new connections then power back up to start the changing of the wifi again or just connect the cable and start the process? I know doing things in the correct order can be the difference between success and failure and I have been through a lot of stress the last 6 days trying to get my Fusion back on line. The Neptune tech support did tell me what to do, but I promptly forgot and I am hoping some Tech Heads in here could offer suggestions for which I would be most grateful.

I ran into this when I moved. Even though I was using ATT at both homes, the apex wouldn't connect to the new router at the new house. You have to hardline connect it and go in and change the router and password settings.

Thanks for the reply! also good to know I am not the only one. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out and when Neptune wasn't able to resolve on an IT level I was beginning to wonder if anything will work. Hope the hard wire works, but question....what do you mean when saying "change the router and PW settings"?

You changed routers correct? The apec is looking for the old router. When you hardwire it you have to go into wifi settings and tell it to look for the new router.
Once your apex is hardwired to your router go to apex.local on your computer, and login using admin and 1234 for the password, and update your router :)
Hope this helps and makes sense lol

Okay, yes....I have the local already communicating to the new tmobile router but when I hard wire I will go through the steps again just to be sure they are still communicating and then hopefully Fusion will come back online as well.
Thanks so much again for your input and clarification. :)
