I used to keep all my powerheads on constant. With such high flow I want to kill them at feeding time and night. Let my fish rest, and also set a time for my auto feeder to feed with no flow for supplement feeding during the day.

When i have them set to auto, they are always off for some reason during the day. I'm curious if there is anything that could cause all powerheads to be set to off? An alert I'm not seeing maybe? There is no probe or temp override selected.

Default ON

Initial OFF:
005:00
On
005:00
OFF
021:30

All are feed A for 10 minute duration.

I've tried setting initial off to 000:00 with the same results.

I've also manually put them to on, then back to auto. they immediately turn off.

2 gyre 250 on an outlet/controller
jebao outlet
tunze stream3 own outlet

All are affected and I'm not understanding why.

Thanks for any help on this!

Also when set to return pump or lights the pumps will stay on when in Auto, but I lose the ability to kill them at night and/or feed selections. And really I dont see why they should need to be assigned that way.

Can you copy and paste what code you're using?

Maybe try this:

Fallback ON
Set ON
OSC 005:00/005:00/020:00 then ON (5mins off, then 5mins on, then 20mins off - not sure if this is what you want? Seems a little odd to have the pumps off for so long. And I changed the 21:30 to 20:00 so the times add up to an hour nicely - not sure why you want 21:30)
If time 21:30 to 05:00 (if you want the pumps off from 9.30pm till 5am)
If FeedA 010 then OFF

Thanks for the response!

I keep all sps. During the day i have both mp40s, both gyres 250s and my wp40 @ 100%. I was looking to give my fish a break at night so the 930-5 slot was going to turn my gyres and wp40 off. The 930 just corresponded with my light schedule :)
Im thinking ive misunderstood how I set them up? Ill try an c/p what im looking at

So this is the setup. I haven't actually gone in and configured anything manually. Does it look correct?

Yes, that is wrong for what you want to do. Those on/off times are not 24-hour clock, just minutes.

Instead of control type “powerhead”, select “advanced” OFF (you’ll see the osc command being used when you look at advanced with your current settings) and then use this code:

Fallback ON
Set ON
IF Time 21:00 to 05:00 then OFF
If Feed A 010 then OFF

I would suggest reading the apex comprehensive reference guide that you can download from Neptune’s website. :)
