What's your preference and why?

A common response is going to be to not pay for both. I get that and we can eliminate that reason off the bat. What I'm looking for is pros and cons of each. I own both. I originally controlled all my Ecotech devices from the Apex. I bought the Reeflink mainly because it was easier to change modes and experiment. That was when Reeflink was first released so the Apex was more limited at the time. I haven't used the Apex since moving to the Reeflink and I'm wondering if there are still limitations in using the Apex, if they are identical or if the Apex has better functionality now.

I think the Apex is great at setting mode cycles and leaving it. Set it and forget it.
Reeflink has the better ability to play around with modes and changing things on the fly.

I own both as well. I personally have the Vortechs on my Apex because once I set my equipment I usually don't mess with it again.

I'd say if someone had an Apex, just control it through Apex because that's the point. Having all the equipment and info in one central location.
If no Apex, then get the Reeflink.

Do you gain any benefit from moving them to the Apex? Otherwise why do it?

The benefit is that all my equipment and tank information is centralized in one location.
Why have an extra piece of equipment when you can control everything in one?

I also like and use apex. Not just to controll my pumps. Once i got the apex i just sold the reeflink for the simple reason: Why have two things doing the same thing? Id rather have all my units collected within one platform instead of spreading them out on induviduall platforms. I have not regreated this once since the ecosmartlive platform WAS (2 years ago) laggy and abit buggy from time to time which made it really frustrating to control your stuff.

I also own both. Reeflink because I also have a Vectra pump. I've had vortechs on both, but prefer WXM/Apex. Frankly I never futz with the settings, but I do occasionally want to be able to turn one off to clean. It's just easier to do it from my apex screen stuck to the tank.
