ok so like put in one of my threads earlier about my new apex now i have a issue with the orp what do what is it for what does it and what are my levels supposed to be at its reading 178 and i keep getting text alerts on my iphone driving me nuts

How long has the probe been in there? Did you take the cap off before adding to the tank? When you took the cap off was there water inside ( there should be to keep it moist) it can take a week or two for it to break in. Mine took two weeks.

Agree with flexin. When I put mine in originally or take it out for a vinegar cleaning, then it takes days to build up to the appropriate value and level off. May want to turn off that alarm for a few days a verify that it is increasing.

Since you probably don't want to turn off all alarms, you can do this.
Click on Alarm icon on top.

Then click on plug icon

Then click on the alarm you want to change. I only use the email one.
So click on bottom for me.

Now you can delete the row for orp less than xxx. May want to take a screenshot to add back later.

How often do you clean it with vinegar? What's the ratio you use? Do you do that with PH also?

I clean my probes about once every 6 month unless they start to read wrong. Then recalibrate the ones that need it. I use about 50/50 mixture and just put in a cup and let soak for about 30 min then rinse with rodi then back in sump.

turned it off now lookin at my salinity probe it reads 27.6 i added salt last night just my salinity with my buddies hydrometer and its at the top now do i meed to recalibrate it i just put it in the system yesterday

ALL I DID WAS SET IT UP TO MY IPHONE I DIDNT PROGRAM ANYTHING I ALWAYS CALL NEPTUNE SUPPORT SO THAT THEY CAN SET UP MY CONFIGURATIONS

It comes preprogrammed. The only reason I can think of is to see any type of spike which could tell you of something dying. Never paid a lot of attention to it.
