Ok, I purchased this apex jr with no display from this forum. I still don't have it functioning, all I have done is hooked up the Ethernet and set up the ip for it. Currently I'm waiting for the wifi gaming adapter to come in.
With all that said can someone explain to me why would it turn off my pump? I had it set up just as a basic outlet and plugged in my aquarium return pump, ato, and radion lights. While watching it after two or so minutes it turned off. I mean I have not messed around with any commands or anything can I not trust it yet for just basic outlet work? Before this happened the same outlet on the apex had turned off my ato after dumping a lot of rodi water in my sump. So. Any recommendation?

Try manually turning on the outlet via the network interface and see if the same issue happens. If it does, try a different outlet. You may have a bad triac, but it sounds more like programming issues.

Ok so they are not all 4 automatically turned on? Cause the weird thing is the outlet works but shuts off.
I'm sure it's user error ill figure it out eventually.

If it is used, it more than likely is programmed to do a certain function like cycle a powerhead on and off after a certain amount of run time. If you are sure that outlet is supossed to be on all the time, then it may be faulty. This is not like a normal powerstrip they are not all necessarily on when you plug it in.

There are defaults probably still in place. Heater, pump, light, etc.each has specific on off programming under different circumstances.

Ya your right it looks like I was running into the defaults and they were programmed to turn off etc...
