So I noticed my PH drifting slowly downward and replaced my Co2 media thinking it was that and would help just a tad bit. I was getting about 7.96 to 8.25.

a little while ago I was at 8.1 and it had been about 6 months since I got my apex and calibrated the probe. I recalibrated right now and it’s now showing 8.31. Could the probe have drifted .2 ?? In a 6 month period

How old is the pH probe? I mean, a little drift is to be expected - but probably not that much. Did you run an independent pH test to verify if the Apex pH probe is accurately reading after calibration?

Only 6 months old and I have not yet

Yes, probes drift. Ideally, you should be calibrating monthly but few do that. I fought low pH for months on end and then found out it was my probe that had drifted .5 in about 6 months time. After calibrating, I was hitting 8.6 or higher. So I backed off my pH increasing endeavors

From the looks of it I may be doing the same . Thanks for the reply!
