Can the pH probe of the apex help monitor if ato fails? or if doser get stuck on the on position?

Debating if I should spend the extra 300 and get the full apex instead of the apexel for the salinity probe but if the ph probe can check for ato failure stuck on then I would go with the el

The PH probe would let you now if the PH is swinging up due to increased dosing, but at that point it might be a bit late? I use two PH probes on mine, one in the tank, and one in the CalRX. But mostly to make sure things are stable.

The best way to check for ato failure would be float valves. pH sensor wouldnt help and the salinity probe should not be used for adjustments as it is not accurate.
