Apex ph probe

Yes, everything was fine for almost a yr now it shot up, I haven't done anything to it. I did figure out my alk was very low. I am struggling with raising it up

First off is calibration as mentioned. They need it every month or two. Also what kind of probe is it? Typically pH probes need to be changed every year or so.

Mine lasted about 2 1/2 years before it started reading high. When it started doing that it was no longer able to be calibrated. I never had to calibrate every 2 months, more like 4-6 months.

^agreed

Once every 6 months seems to be the norm for me as well. If it's reading high make sure the probe is clean as well. Air stuck or other debris in it will cause it to misread

Not every month maybe 6months. But if readings seem off then calibration is worth a shot.

I'm having the same issue. My probe is 2 yrs old. I calibrated it and it keeps reading high. So I tested my ph using a API test kit and it's reading 8.4. I'm assuming the probe is shot.
Most likely yours is probably time to replace just like mine.
