Hi all
I’m new to Neptune and had a general question for those with experience. I’m going to be getting into apex but can’t decide which one to get. I’m not going to be doing any autodosing with the apex and want it exclusively to monitor parameters. I’m thinking I’m just going to get the apex jr with a trident and a salinity probe (with a pm2 module) as this should be enough for what I’m looking for. I just wanted everyone’s thoughts if I should get the pro instead knowing I won’t be using it to automate the tank or autodose. I know the apex jr can be upgraded in increments to the capabilities of the pro but I doubt I would ever take advantage of those features. Thanks for any feedback.

Personally speaking, I would do the same thing. The Jr has the base functionality you're looking for. If you do decide to Automate anything in the future, you're able to expand.

The only suggestions I would add is that if you plan to automate in the future (outlets or other equipment) the Apex (regular) might save you money on the EB832. But other than that, I think the Jr meets what you're looking to do.

Perfect. Thank you for the confirmation. I just wanted some opinions on more experienced reefers. Thank you so much!
