I was wondering, how did can I put those probes ? I have like 1/3 submerged, can I have the whole probe in the water ?

Thank you

Up to 3/4 of probe is acceptable standard. With exception of Temp probe, you dont want to submerge them.

You can submerge them safely but as suggested it is not a good idea long term. Submerging them will expose the wires to salt water and over time that will cause them to harden increasing the risk the plastic casing will crack.

I keep mine under water up to the top flange. For the temperature probe which doesn’t have a flange, I leave about 3/4” out of the water. I use the Neptune magnetic probe holder - a little pricey but very convenient.

I also use the apex magnetic probe rack same as @Tastee. My PH probe is about 1/2 submerged and my temp probe is only submerged to just above the black tip.

Mine often get fully covered when I turn off the return pump. While I would not keep them fully submerged, once in a while will not hurt them one bit.

I have a question about the salinity probe if I can piggy back here... I can not get the apex to calibrate at all, it keeps telling me to dry the probe, despite it being out of water for days...Any suggestions as to what it needs me to do?
