I have a small power head in the fuge chamber of my sump that I use to tumble my chaeto and keep detritus from accumulating. I am also carbon dosing in to that chamber at the top of the hour during the time my lights are on. I want to turn that pump off for about 30 minutes while dosing (thought it might increase contact time with the live rock in that chamber). Will this program accomplish that or is there a better more simple way to write it?

If Time 12:59 to 13:30 Then OFF
If Time 13:59 to 14:30 Then OFF
If Time 14:59 to 15:30 Then OFF
If Time 15:59 to 16:30 Then OFF
If Time 16:59 to 17:30 Then OFF
If Time 17:59 to 18:30 Then OFF
If Time 18:59 to 19:30 Then OFF
If Time 19:59 to 20:30 Then OFF
If Time 20:59 to 21:30 Then OFF
If Time 21:59 to 22:30 Then OFF

What's your "set" state?

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/030:00/030:00 Then ON

This will make pump on for 30 min then off for 30 mins every start of the every hour.

If you want it to start at 59 and end at 30 after then use
OSC 059:00/031:00/29:00

This will delay start to 59 mins after the hour and run for 31 mins then off for 29.

is the light connected to 1 of the ports on your energy bar too?

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/030:00/030:00 Then ON
If Outlet_X = OFF Then OFF

You want to turn it on for every other 30 minutes and do that 10 times a day or you get tired after typing the program 10 times :)
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/030:00/030:00 Then ON

This will make pump on for 30 min then off for 30 mins every start of the every hour.

It's a power head and I only want it to go off for 31 minutes starting just before the dosing pump comes on from 1 pm to 10 pm and run all the time the rest of the day. I didn't think there was any way to run an oscellating program for just part of the day.

My Set is ON, Fallback is also ON.

I want it to be off when my dosing pump is on. ngvu1 could I use your program but substitute ON for the first off? Would I need the OSC? Like this?

If Vinegar_3_8=ON Then OFF

You mean this?
1. Fallback OFF
2. OSC 000:00/030:00/030:00 Then ON
3. If Vinegar_3_8 = ON Then OFF

I have not used it personally, but logically I think it will turn on the pump then turn off the pump right away when the Vinegar_3_8 outlet is ON. Not a desired way as you want to NOT turn on the pump for even 1 second while the Vinegar_3_8 is OFF. I need to think about a better way than this.

If Vinegar_3_8=ON Then OFF
