Apex pumpv2 shutting itself off

I have a Neptune apex 24vdc pump version2 and all of a sudden it’s started very odd behavior. When the 24vdc accessory outlet turns on, the pump turns on, runs for 5 seconds and turns off. This is with the outlet in the on position (not auto) and the accessory outlet is staying on. If i turn it off and back on it won’t do anything. If i turn it off, wait 10ish minutes, then turn it on, the behavior comes back. Any ideas? Just a failed pump or something else?

Make sure that the orange tube isn’t pushed all the way in restricting flow from the pump.
You can also disassemble pump to assure no small snails got into housing

I would assume if the tube was in too far the pump would still run. I used a quick connect so that couldn’t happen anyway.

no snails as it’s my ATO container.
