APEX question

Im setting up an APEX system and i got there water level sensor thinking it would work with the Break out box but it says it needs to be used with the FFM do you guys know if it is possible to hook it up to the break out box?

No. The breakout box can only read if a circuit is open or closed using 2 wires, such as from a float switch, magnetic switch, toggle switch, or pressure switch. It’s a passive device and does not provide any power.

The optical sensors use 4 wires, including two that power its internal infrared sensor. It can only be used with the FMM module.
