Hi guys. My big tank is not going to be set up for a while. I have a brand new Apex Controller with the 4 probes. Wouldn't it be worth or even feasible setting it up for my 10 gallon all-in-one nuvo fusion that's been up and running for over a year? Has anyone ever tried one of these on a nano tank? Any tips or advice Would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

I bought my first APEX when I still had freshwater. When I decided to go salt I put everything in a ten gallon for almost three months

As long as you have somewhere to put the probes then it should work the same on a 10g as any other tank.
If it were me I would actually want to set it up on the smaller tank if the bigger tank won’t be setup for a long time. I would want time to make sure everything works before the warranty could possibly run out.

Ok cool. Thank you. That makes sense. Can I place all of the probes right next to the heater? And do they have to be elevated off of the bottom. (Have limited room obviously)

If you are allowing it to control your heater then right beside the heater probably isn’t ideal.
I assume the end of the probe has to to not be sitting on the bottom of the tank but I don’t know how much of a gap it needs. I would guess as long as there is enough for flow under the probe it’s probably okay.
