Apex running DC motors/Apex vs EL

I'm thinking of taking the plunge with Apex.

My question is will Apex be able to adjust my DC pump speed on my simplicity motor? If so I'd like to know How is this achieved.


Also it's not clear to me the big difference between the El and Reg Apex besides an ORP probe. I know I don't need that. Lol. What else. Thoughts?

Variable speed ports on the full apex can be used to control certain DC devices. You’d have to check to see if yours is one of them.

The DC pump needs to have 0-10v control, first of all. And then your controller also needs to have 0-10v variable speed ports.

You can still control the pump with a 120V port on the energy bar or get the VDM for $100 that will give you 0-10V capability with the ApexEL.

As TheHarold stated, you need to make sure your pump has a 0-10V control input first.
