I am trying to calibrate the salinity probe, but keep getting an error. See attached for screenshot. I have the most recent AOS. It goes through the process and says all is well, but gets held up on the final step

You have to start out with a dry probe - can you confirm that's the case? It looks like it's failing at the start (step 3/6) - you haven't even reached the salinity packet phase.

Also, it's a good idea to enable TC (temperature conversion) prior for the probe (I use a value of 2.1). And you should float the salinity packet in the sump or display (sealed, of course) for about 10-15 minutes so the temperature matches that of the tank.

It was a dry probe. And it did get to the packet stage. The packet was floated in the sump to get to same temp. Failed in the third stage. The Range acceptance and Reading settled were done and it stopped at the “Time Remaining” section

There's a manual calibration option - that has worked for me in the past.

Read my thread on this exact topic and issue: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/conductivity-probe-not-calibrating.956278/

Summary:
I had to email and have a phone chat with customer service, and then send the probe in. Basically, it broke and needed to be fixed/replaced.

Am I saying your probe is broken? Maybe. Maybe not. The only way to find out is to email customer service and do a diagnostic.

I emailed customer service yesterday. Hopefully I’ll hear back on Monday - or I’ll call them. In the meantime I’ll try the manual process to see if any different results. Thanks

Keep us posted. :)
