Apex screen programming

Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to have a tablet connected as a screen but not on all the time and then get a door switch to wake the screen up when open the cupboard?

You can use a tablet but as far as a door switch where it comes on when the door opens is a tough one . Depending on the tablet their might be something in the settings to go to sleep and wake up when you touch the screen or maybe a app you can down load . Not sure but would think there’s a way
