Ok..tried it and not working correctly ...

Screen says.
fallback off
osc 000:59/000:1/000:00 then on
If time 00:59 to 00:01 then on
If feed a 000 then off

Some one help a brother out

Fallback OFF
OSC 000/001/059 Then ON

Should do it for you.

What second part? Those are all the lines you need. You should type it exactly as shown.

FYI,

OSC 059/001/000 Then ON
is the functionally relatively the same as
OSC 000/001/059

The only difference is that the first one stays off for 59 minutes and then comes on for 1 minute whereas the second one comes on for 1 minute and then stays off for 59 minutes.

my screen looks just like below

fallback off
osc 000:59/000:1/000:00 then on
If time 00:59 to 00:01 then on
If feed a 000 then off

By the second part i ment "IF Time" on the second line..should that be all 00:00/00:00

CJ,
Tried it you way last night and pump kept running non stop

Do you have the outlet set to auto?

Take out the If time statement. You are basically saying to keep it on if the time is between 12:59 am until 12:01 am the next morning (basically all day).

let me bump this old thread.

I want my my kalk stirrer to only come on for 5 min every 24hrs. can someone help with this statement. I get most of the commands, but this osc command and times really throw me.

Fairly simply actually. I took this from my magnesium dose that runs once a week for 11 seconds. The only thing I can't remember and I think it's correct is that, in the above, it will not turn on until 10:31, but if not, you'd just have to adjust the 10:30 and 10:35(or whatever time you want it to go on and off.

This is the mag I use. It's powered by an aqualifter, thus the tiny duration of "on time":

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 10:30 to 10:31 Then ON
If DoW SMT-TFS Then OFF
Defer 001:49 Then ON

Hope this helps you. .

thanks. I was originally told to use an oscillation statement for some reason. but your statement is much easier and straight forward, and makes much more sense

No problem. For mybrain, keeping itas easy as possible is the key. You can also add pH statements such as:

If pH> 8.40 Then Off

It's how complicated you want.

For my dosers and Ato, I also added virtual outlets to let me know and turn off if they run longer than they're supposed to. Osc is cool, but if it's anything like daily(once a day), it's just easier for me to just set a time/duration and let it go.

To check it, I would set it and I always let the program run to a bucket while I'm watching it and the time. That way, you know it's exact. .

Oh and if your comfortable viewing your xml logs, you can check it that way also.
