Can't find my original post but wanted more input on connecting Apex to the internet via the wall outlet. Do you have to use wireless or can I leave the Apex hard wired to the wall? I don't want to fry the system so any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Eric

Hard wired to the wall is the most reliable way to hook it up, no problems with leaving it this way

Will I still be able to control via my laptop that is on my wireless netwrok? My confuser skills are really bad. I think the wall connections are wired into the router. I have verizon fios if this makes a difference. With questions this stupid you have to be asking why I got the controller. lol

As long as your wall connection is wired to your router you can still make changes on your laptop or iPhone wireless

Thanks for your help Fidofence. I remember reading something about connecting stuff to the controller that can damage it, think it was USB but not sure.

Yes they say hooking up a USB cable instead of the Apex aquabus will damage the controller, I don't believe them because I think they just want you to buy there cable but I'm not willing to take the gamble to find out if it is true or not

Mine is wireless. No problems.
