I was never big on water testing, had all different test kits over the years very seldom did I do any type of water testing.
Then purchased a few of the Hannah testers did it for a while but they ended up just sitting on the shelf.
I now have the Trident system and really love the simplicity of the water testing.
I even manually test the water more frequently to compare numbers to the automation.
Nitrate and Phosphate are a must.So the trident only test calcium, alk, and what else? Im new im not the salt game. Haha

That's what I do. Hanna for HR Nitrate, ULR Phosphate, and copper HR (for QT). Trident for alk, CA, Mg. Old red sea alk to sanity check the trident on occasion.I dont wanna waste my money oj test kits. So i get hanna for nitrate, and phosphate and thats it? Everything else is trident?
