Apex USB Cable

Is there any other USB connection cables can be used other than the ones that come with the controller?
I'm looking for new USB cables.

I think it’s the same as some phone chargers right? Or is it Usb to usb?

2.0 or 3.0

Both 2.0 or 3.0 will work. Just be sure not to get any cable that has a repeater. It needs to be a plain straight-through USB cable, since the Apex sends 12v through the cable as opposed to a standard USB device that works on 5v.

I looked into this at one point and the one thing I remember is just be careful getting cables online etc, some really cheap made ones don't have the insulation needed and have the potential to short out and fry your equipment. Other than that a standard 2.0 with no repeaters will work. After searching around a bit I honestly just ordered the Neptune brand ones to be safe, they have many lengths and I didn't feel like risking gear over a few bucks on a cable.
