Great review! I have also been beta testing these pumps and am very pleased. I will be posting a review soon!

Oh and funny beginning! LOL!

Great review, They state ~4000+ gph each for such a compact powerhead. Would 2 of these be adequate for an 180G SPS tank?

It should be more than enough. If you had a fully grown out SPS tank, I could see maybe adding a third WAV but I would start with two, play with the directional flow and the different random presets we have, and then see how it goes.

The WAV is designed to work in aquariums from 40g up to hundreds of gallons. It all depends on what kind of tank it is (softie, mixed, SPS), how many you use and what mode and intensity your run them in. One WAV in a 40G SPS tank would be great. Two in a 120 would also work well. One in a softie 180 would be plenty.

I have dead spots in my 40g since I only have one power head. I'm working towards making it a mixed reef. Would 2 Wav powerheads in my tank be too powerful? Right now I have zoas, acan, plate coral and bubble tip nem.

They are great pumps, you would need to have them cranked all the way down. They may be a bit powerful. I have mine cranked down to 38% in my 60 gallon ... Anything more and the water comes over the sides..

So that still gives you room to vary the flow throughout the day? Is 38% your max flow?
