Hi reefers,

Im new to Apex (having ApexEL and really love it). Before I decided for Apex, Ive been using D-D Dual Heating and Cooling Controller, which controls my heater and fans keeping my temp in a very narrow range. Thus, I would like to keep it as a part of Apex-driven temperature control. However, I cant figure out how to implement its dual function cooling/heating function into one Apex outlet. Now it seems impossible to me, but maybe somebody more experienced could help me.

And yes, I know that EB has separate outlets for heaters and coolers. But as I mentioned, I would prefer to control both functions through a single outlet.

Many thanks for any insight and I wish you all peaceful Christmas.

Ok after looking at the product I get what it is(had never heard of it before this).

I would just run the apex in an always on scenario. That way the stand alone controller can do what it's designed to do. Only programming I would use:

Set on
fallback on
If temp < 75 then off

That way if the temp gets too low it will shut the unit off. Since it runs your fans/chiller too I would not use a too high > off statement.
