Maybe this has been answered maybe not ,I can't find the answer so sorry if it has.

Is any equipment compatible with apex or does it have to be listed as "apex ready"?

If you are just plugging it into the eb8 outlet for on/off then anything will work, but for advanced control it has to be apex ready. Somethings like radions and mp need the wxm module whereas kessil and varios use the variable speed port.

Also anything that supports 0-10 volt input would work. The apex has four 0-10 volt variable speed ports that are compatible many lights, pumps, etc.

It does not necessarily have to be apex ready for it to work. That just means that they have not tested it and certified it.

Any type of sensor that uses a dry contact (non powered ) will work with the breakout box humidity, temp, float, water on floor, ect, ect all types of thing you can monitor.

Thank you
Some items like lights depends on if you have the new Apex controller or the Classic.

If you have the ole Classic you might need to buy another Apex module.

I have this one not set up yet waiting on prob holder and some cable management supplies.
