Yes this is a expensive hobby. I think your comment about everyones too cheap is incorrect. It's not that people are cheap to pay $799, it's common sense if you're paying full price you would just buy from retailer. Just like you had the common sense to not price it at $799. I know your intentions was not to insult anybody but it's unfair for you to make that comment.

glws.

Not to insult. But. Yea you can buy for $799 but you can also buy from me for $700 and be the first owner to register the unit and have the same warantee through neptune. So basically you saving $100 and having the same peace of mind

It’s 700 for a new apex. It’s a great deal. Why is everyone harping on OP. He didn’t post 799, yea, at hypothetical 799 why bother. But 100 bucks is legit savings.

Maybe mods delete this and the other non helpful post.

I guess you never heard of a deal too good to be true. Maybe that Nigerian Prince wouldn't have made so much money if people questioned why is this deal so good.

This is a good deal. I have noticed members here are quick to comment on prices and point out MSRP’s. It puts a bad image on the item in question especially when it is clearly saving the buyer money. I dealt with this when listing a brand new sump for $20 cheaper than retail.

I’d be all over this if my system was close enough to being where it needs to be

Honestly, even if you post at $799 you still save money via taxes and such

Just to be clear. I don't have a problem with his pricing. OP can price it at $1 or $799. I just thought it was not cool to assume everybody on this forum is cheap, per his words. I even said glws. lol.

I agree. Saying people are too cheap to pay full price on something is a bit too much.

people are also too dang sensitive, also meaning that it must hold true if you have those feelings about it! :P

There are rules within this Selling forum which state: if there are concerns with price or comparable" to address it via PRIVATE MESSAGE"

Additionally, we must consider the now High cost of shipping and PayPal fees. Some companies we know offer free shipping. We consumers don't get free ship and have to absorb such costs. An item like this between PP and ship will cost $30 to seller who now has this as a loss from net amount of asking price.
