API calcium testing help?

I am trying to test my calcium using the API test kit but I don't understand how to use it. Can someone help me?

It's been so long since I used it, but read the instructions. I believe it's add the water and keep adding drops until the water is blue. Then ref the number of drops added for the CA level.

What shade of blue?

It will show you the shade in the instructions if I recall. It's a deep blue.

Shake bottle one vigorously for 30 seconds. Attached 10 drops of bottle one to 5ml of water. Shake for 10 second. Grab bottle 2 shake for 30 seconds at drops 2 at a time untill you reach 15 drops. Shake after every 2 drops. The test tub will go from a white color to pink. Mine stays pink until I get to 20 drops. The. One more drop is a purple blue color. The. One more drop changes it to a more blue than purple and your good as gold.

Goes from pink to purple thats it. Count the drops. Each drops equals 20ppm
