API dosage question

I have a clownfish that has been pooping stringy poop on and off for about 10 days. Eats fine and very active. I dosed the water today with API general cure as directed on the box. Can I also combine treatment in the food with either Mertoplex or API and Focus at the same time with frozen mysis? If so, how much in food.

No, don’t combine with metroplex, you will end up overdosing with the metronidazole. Mixing meds with focus just cannot work as you have no control over the dose...you don’t know how much medication is actually adhered to the food and then you don’t know how much is being fed on a per body weight basis. Take a look at the medicated food calculator at the top of this section for a workable way to medicate food.
