OK I am about to order my meds. for my up and coming QT tanks 2x 40br
I will be fallowing @HotRocks QT protocol.

be doing 14 days in copper but where I am confused is how to used the API general cure + focus.
my limited understanding is you must bind the GC with focus in there food? can some one teel moe more about this process what is the recipe??

thanks
also wondering if I need the 2 pack of API general cure? guess I will know when i find out how much you add to the food.

if I would have reread hotrocks QT thread he clearly states it there...

Dosage for food soaked meds:
Add 1 scoop of GC (scoop that comes with focus) + 1 scoop focus per 1 tablsespoon of prepared frozen food. I add selcon + a touch of garlic to help dissolve the meds.
*You can also use Metroplex in place of general cure, it does however only treat for intestinal parasites instead of intestinal parasites + worms*. This food can be refrigerated once medicated. Is for 3-5 days, toss and make new.

How do you actually measure a tablespoon of frozen prepared food?

Take a tablespoon and fill it up with prepared food... I'm confused

It would have to be thawed first.

My question was mainly about the word prepared. Say I use lrs food, this would be prepared and just need to be thawed and measured to 1tbsp, that's what you mean right?

Yes, sorry I should have been more descriptive. My prepared food is a dozen or so cubes/lrs etc. + Selcon and a little garlic to help dissolve the meds. You want the food to be a paste.

Do you have to soak food with gc? Will it be affective if you just dump the GC packet into QT?

Soaking the food with GC and then binding it with Focus will help with issues in the digestive tract. Dosing GC to the tank will help more with external issues.
