Hi guys. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but I want to be 101% sure.
Is API General Cure (praziquantel + metro) with Seachem Focus to bind it, reef safe? @Humblefish @HotRocks

The key is binding it with Focus. It's not reef safe per se but the Focus keeps it from dispersing into the water column. I've treated my fish 3 times with it and during one treatment, my Duncan coral ate some that landed on it. It closed up for 24 hrs. and I was afraid I'd lose it. But, no, it recovered just fine. Now I feed smaller amounts so the fish can ingest the majority of it. I have clams, anemones, and acros and nothing has died from the treatments.

for what it's worth, i had to dump GC as it was into my tank to try and rescue my little clown (he was so emaciated it was scary, he was not eating so the binding with Focus was pointless). a hospital/qt set up was out of the question and i really wanted to save him.

the tank showed no ill symptoms that i could see, so i can at least vouch for GC being reef safe.

Feed small quantities and remove the left over with a turkey baster or other siphon.

Got a small foxface from my LFS. I thought it was just a baby. Turns out he is pooping out white string. Going to use this to treat my whole tank for sure. At least he is still eating good.
