I have several Anthias in QT have white stringy poop. I have tried Metro mixed with food and Focus but the thing is I cannot feed the fish every day...Only 3 or 4 days a week I can feed them twice or plus, rest of the day that I don't have access to the fish.

Can I use API general cure as a bath (directly does into the QT tank)? Can I overdose general cure into 5 gallon of freshly SW to make a 25 gallon strength and use this 5 gallon mixed general cure when I do a water change? My QT is about 25 ~ 27 gallon. Or is there other ways to dose this powder into QT? I am afraid if I dump the powder directly into QT those Anthias might chase/swallow some of the unmixed powder...

Lastly, is it necessary to do Prazipro after the general cure?

Thanks,

Louis

General cure has prazipro in it already so no need to do both.
I usually take the packet and pour it into a cup of tank water, mix vigorously for a little bit and slowly add it to the qt. if you got a 5 gal tank, you might want to use half of the packet. It think that its only stays active for about 48-72 hours so I wouldn't mix it too long before you are gonna use it.
I think only metro helps with internal worms so you might be better off just dosing the tank with that unless you are treating for flukes as well in which case GC will do both.
you will need to do several treatments if I'm not mistaking also.
Anthias do require several feedings during the day to to stay healthy. keep an eye out for uronema.

I see. I have 30 gallon QT, with actually 27 ish gallon in it. So using small container to premix the GC (lets say dose 27 gallon GC which = 2 and a half + little bit of packet into 2 cups of tank water) and pour into QT. Dose that sound right?

And yes I have autofeeder feeds four times a day with ELOS medium/small size pellet. 7 out of 8 anthias are eating the pellets. 4 Randall's were in the QT for 8 days and they go nuts when the pellets drop. Dispar were introduced last Friday, 3 of 4 of them are eating pellet, but not that crazy as Randall's. One Dispar were still shy hiding in PVC since introduced last Friday. I do see the shy one eating inside PVC while I feed arctic pod mix with metro + focus. I am away of the QT for three days and My mom was out of town these three days as well...she used to feed the fish while I was not there. QT has been established and running with previous fish for 3 months so I am sure there wouldn't be any cycling issue.
