API General Cure

Hello all, I'm curious does anybody know who's used General Cure know how long it stays effective in a tank? I had a a few fish that were exhibiting signs of internal parasites(rapid gill pumping, eradicate swimming, etc..) and adding general cure did the trick. Just put the second dose in 2 days ago. Have a couple of new fish(tang and foxface) tomorrow and if it's still effective I was thinking about just leaving it in as a preventive versus doing a water change and putting carbon back in the tank.

Thanks, yeah i was a little confused about the directions. API says treat and repeat 2 days later. But I've read on here it's more like treat and wait around 6 or 7 days and repeat.

I used it plenty of times and went with the longer 6-8 days dosing time

I used API General Cure along with Focus plus Masstick. Fed it to fish for 1 week. Extra measures taken with my incoming DD OSFF.
