Api saltwater alk test question

Pls remind me...I used to get 8dkh (8 drops to turn yellow from blue) in my reef tank.

Now it's happening in 6 drops meaning alk is 6.

Should I increase dosing alk solution?
I'm using Randy recipe....For alk.

Also as stuff grows in my reef, corals etc...do they make alk go low?

With growth comes greater consumption. Have you noticed any drop in calcium as well? You'll definitely need to increase your dosage to keep up with demand.

If you corals are growing, you'll need to dose to keep alk and Ca normal. Good luck!

For mixed reef 9dkh is my target....
