Api super ick verses Copper power? Differences and Usage....

First, I am treating my fish and was wondering which one to use for ich. Currently, doing the TTM.

I am planning to add new fish, will probably do the TTM for 12 days with treated medicines (api supper ick or copper power) during the transfer, with a fresh water dip in between transfer. Will probably use prazipro also, at the last transfer.

Just wondering which one to use as mentioned above and can I use Seachem Prime - concentrated conditioner to detox ammonia, nitrite & nitrate with the medications? Thanks ahead of time.

API super ick cure apparently has two formulations listed online - one is malachite green and the other is an aldehyde. Neither is a suitable choice for marine ich.
I use coppersafe at 2.5 ppm for 30 days, but copper power is essentially the same.
I don’t use TTM because it only treats for ich and it causes extra handling stress.
Another choice would be hyposalinity for 30 days and that would treat both ich and flukes.

Hi Jay, can you give me details on the 30 days with coppersafe. Like, what size tank u using, 10 gallons. How often do you do the water changes and do you do 20% water changes all the way till the day 30? Thanks for the information.
