How to read API CHART my drops shows 15 drops whem change to blue, should be 19 to 20 drops so is that too much calcium or not enough . Help me to read?

Hey Gettie!

15 drops should be 300 ppm, in the back of the book youll see a conversion chart.
Start with 15 drops, cap and shake your test tube, and then continue drop by drop and shake in between each.

so my15 drops turns blue , then I need to add more calcium?

Could you send a picture of the chart? Any API calcium test kit chart I looked up has 15 drops as an option... Maybe I am not understanding?
my 15 drops shows 300 ppm according to chart should be 19 drios for 380 ppm so If turn blue @ 15 drops is this too much calcium or need more ?

Most certainly, but I would also be inclined to check dKH as well. Its the much quicker test anyways. If its sitting below 7 its certainly time to add a two part solution to raise both at once.

We should always be mindful not to go from point A(300) to point B(400+) instantly. Even doing it over the course of a couple days or even 6-8 hour increments is better than all at once.

I am sorry, but I am not understanding.
